The Salinas Valley Youth Soccer League (SVYSL) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1992 in response to the dire need for youth services in the community.  The league currently registers approximately 500 members each season (spring/fall) comprising of youth soccer players ranging from 4 to under 14 years of age. Our mission and primary goal – To positively enrich the lives of the children and their families in our community, by utilizing the game of soccer to develop, promote, and teach life values and soccer skills. This best describes the role of SVYSL within the community.
